Overview & Reviews
In an attempt to revive Monte Carlo's performance image, Chevrolet adds a supercharged SS version for 2004. The LS gets new 17-inch aluminum wheels, and there are a couple new appearance packages, Sport and Winner's Circle, available on the LS and non-supercharged SS.
- Spacious interior, low sticker price, strong acceleration with supercharged V6.
- Mediocre performance on non-supercharged models, bland interior with cheap materials, no passenger side-impact airbag.

really like this 2004 monte - 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By cooldoc - July 15 - 2:00 amHad a 2001 monte SS, and moved up to the 2004 supercharger. This is an excellent long term vehicle. It has all the options, and comforts. Beautiful lines, and excellent handling. A perfect car to hand down to my son, in 5 yrs, for his first car.

Monte Carlo #1 in my Book - 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By stpman - July 15 - 2:00 amPurchased our 2003 Monte Carlo LS in Oct 03. We drive it as our pleasure vehicle and does not get driven much on the year, but when we take out on Sundays for joy rides especially with our added Road Warior Feathered Graphic Kit on the sides we definetly get heads to look when we go by. The Monte Carlo is built very sturdy and we plan on keeping it a very long time. Rick stpman

Would buy again - 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By Black on Black - May 21 - 7:36 pmI bought this car used at 43K miles and did not know the previous owner. There are some issues on this car that have been unusual failures. The AC pulley bearing went bad, the serpentine belt tensioner went bad. The wheel bearings on the front went bad and the heater core went out all before 60K. Buying used, I cannot tell how the previous owner treated it so I chalk it up to previous use. It gets great gas mileage and rides very nice.

Monte Power - 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By blucas2 - April 23 - 7:01 pmLove this car. I think Chevy realized they made this one too good so they stopped production. What a mistake. The Monte Carlo is an attractive one that screams power. My 3.4 is loaded with power. No real problems as long as you do your maintenance.
